Bocconcino di langa

About the cheese: 'Bocconcino' translates as “little mouthful” a smaller version of the traditional Italian cheese, Tomino. This small disk of goat’s cheese has smooth bloomy rind. When young, the cheese has a has a slightly soft texture, but as it ages becomes firmer and develops a sweet goaty falvor - it's delicious across all stages of its maturity.

 

About the producer: Caseificio dell’Alta Langa, located in the charming village of Bosina in the Piemonte region of northern Italy. A stone’s throw from esteemed wine regions like Alba, Barolo & Barbaresco. This cheese is born among hazelnut groves & vineyards - the fruit of a family tradition that has been handed down since 1881.
